Candlestick Park in San Francisco, California, with a capacity of 70,207, was opened on April 12, 1960. The stadium has been home to the 49ers NFL team since 1971, who can be seen in this game versus the St. Louis Rams on November 16, 2008. Originally built for the San Francisco Giants baseball team, the stadium is well known for its harsh wind conditions, cold weather, and dense fog.
