The city of Segovia, population 55,000, is located just 35 minutes north of Madrid by train. Some of its famous sights include the Cathedral of Segovia, the Church of Vera Cruz, an ancient Roman Aqueduct, and a castle known as the Alcazar of Segovia. This view of Segovia was taken from one of the towers of the castle. The Cathedral of Segovia can be seen in the center of the view.
