The Moks, Viewed From Lanikai Beach In Kailua, Hawaii

A view of two islands known as Na Mokulua, off the coast of Oahu, Hawaii. Na Mokulua literally means "the two islands", but they are most often known as "The Moks". The white sands of Lankai Beach can be seen in the foreground, which is near the city of Kailua. The islands are state bird sanctuaries and very popular with kayakers, who often visit the larger Moku Nui island. The smaller Moku Iki island is off limits.

The Italian Seaside Town Of Vernazza, Part Of Cinque Terre

The small town of Vernazza can be found in the Cinque Terre region of the Italian Riviera. This pedestrian only fishing village has a population of about 1,000 and measures just under 5 square miles. Main sights include Doria Castle and the beautiful harbor of Vernazza. Walking trails connect Vernazza to Monterosso al Mare in the north, and Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore in the south.

The Italian Island of Capri

A view of the harbor of Capri island. This four square mile island can be found about 6 miles off the coast of Sorrento, Italy and has a population of 12,200. The highest point is Monte Solaro at 1,932 feet. Throughout history, Capri has been the home of Roman emperors and military troops. Capri, with its famous villas, blue grotto, and the community of Anacapri, is today a popular resort destination. The city of Capri, seen in the background, is the main center of population on the island.

The Towering Cliffs of Moher of Ireland

A spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher, located near the Burren in County Clare, Ireland. The height of the mostly shale and sandstone cliffs varies from 400 to 700 feet high above the Atlantic Ocean. On a clear day, the Aran Islands and Galway Bay can be seen. The Cliffs of Moher is a major tourist destination, attracting nearly 1 million people every year.

The Harbor of La Condamine, Monaco

The harbor of La Condamine, the second oldest district in Monaco, can be seen here with its yachts of the rich and famous. Monaco, population 33,000, is located in southwest Europe, bordered by France and the Mediterranean Sea. The area of Monaco measures in at 0.76 square miles, making it the second smallest country in the world, after Vatican City. The average person can walk across the country in 50 to 60 minutes.
