La Boqueria public market can be found just off Las Ramblas in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Such goods as meats, ham, fruits, vegetables, nuts, honey, fish, and flowers can be found any day of the year. This popular tourist landmark was first constructed in 1840, and officially opened in 1853. The fish market seen here opened in 1911. The origins of the market date back as far as the 1200's.
