The two famous icons of Sydney Harbour, Australia. First, on the left, is the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which is a 1,149 foot steel arch bridge that was built and completed in 1932. It measures in at 440 feet tall, making it the tallest steel arch bridge in the world. Second, on the right, is the Sydney Opera House. Construction began on the performing arts centre in 1963 and was completed in 1973. Today, the opera house now has the title of UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most well known and distinct buildings in the world.
