Busch Memorial Stadium of St. Louis


From 1966 to 2005, Busch Memorial Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri was home to the National League St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.


The stadium featured a design of 96 arches know as the "Crown of Arches," which echoed the design of the Gateway Arch. Other teams to call the stadium home were the St. Louis Cardinals and Rams NFL teams and the St. Louis Stars soccer team. Demolition of the stadium began on November 7, 2005. The Cardinals now play in a new stadium by the same name.
