The stadium, which began construction in 1964 and opened in 1966, has also been known as Anaheim Stadium and Edison International Field of Anaheim. The stadium has been home to the Angels Major League Baseball team since 1966 and also to the Los Angeles Rams football team from 1980 to 1994. In 2002, the Angels defeated the San Francisco Giants in seven games to win their first and only World Series title. In 2010, the stadium will host the 81st annual Major League Baseball All Star Game. Max capacity is around 45,000.
